Benny attacking the net like that is exactly what we need on that line. Love it.

that's where confidence comes in - and why I said I would tell him he has 10 games with the top line if I were the coach. Give him a chance to settle down and just play, and not have to worry about being demoted to the 4th line every time he makes a mistake.

I was talking about the okay after that. I think he’s playing well though.

I think systems are not about what you see in the offensive zone when you already have the puck. Systems are about how you prevent the other team from entering your zone, how you get the puck back, and how you break the puck out. And in those categories they look unremarkable tonight. The other team hasn't done much in the offensive zone so today the systems are not being exploited.
Just my opinion.

I like Nesterov. He's quietly been an awesome addition to the team.

Solid first period. Hopefully that wasn’t our “one dominate period”

Bennett looking like he should have a bit more curve on that stick, if he wants to do those fancy in close wrap aroundy plays.

Agree 100%
The offensive zone is mostly instinct, with a few set plays worked in.
The rest of the game is systems.

That was a great period. Really liked how Bennett looks tonight obviously. If he can somehow claim that spot beside Mony and Johnny it changes everything.
