Default Peaceful Stripper Cash-Shower Turns Ugly

LAS VEGAS -- Police seized $81,020 in cash belonging to Tennessee TitansAdam "Pacman" Jones, which they said sparked a melee and a triple shooting at a strip club over the weekend, court documents show.

Jones was showering more than 40 strippers onstage at Minxx Gentlemen's Club & Lounge early Monday with the cash "intended as a visual effect," according to a search warrant. But a scuffle broke out when the Houston promoter who hired the strippers told them to pick the money up.

The promoter, identified as Chris Mitchell, owner of "Harlem Knights," and a male associate took a plastic trash bag containing Jones' money and walked out the front door, the warrant says. Police recovered the money and two Breitling watches inside a safe at Mitchell's hotel room Monday morning.

Wow. Talk about an over-reaction, pulling a gun out and all. If you are showering strippers with 80 grand in cash, you gotta expect some leakage. It's the price of doing business!

In other news, I want to be a professional athlete. Maybe not necessarily so I could shower 40 strippers with 80 thousand bucks, but it would be nice to know I could do it if I wanted to.

Agreed. I would say 20 strippers would be my max. Any more than that and you are just showing off.

lol, good old breitling watches. Those watches seem to often bring trouble to their rich owners.

The worst part, IMHO:

Minutes later, a valet told police that he heard shots fired near the front entrance and saw a black man with cornrows in his hair pointing a black semi-automatic handgun, it says. The man then fled.

The shots hit a female customer in the head and two security guards, one of whom remained in critical condition and is going to be paralyzed for life,...
Very sad.

I want a Breitling Headwind. I keep hoping to get a deal for one at an auction, but no luck so far.

Well you could probably still do it if you were a CEO of a bank....difference is the pro athlete probably gets to handpick his own top 10 for his private room in the back and get consent for what ever he wants. The Nerd banker.....probably not so much. So really do you want to shower the strippers with money....or do you want the private room afterwards. In my opinion thats the part where being a pro athlete will be of the most benefit!
