Wow pal. Not cool. Can't offer negative thoughts after a win. Everyone and everything was perfect.

Almost 40. It was gonna happen I guess. I was holding for a Chara like bounce back for one more year. They may have to reconsider his role.

Don't have to be so binary.
Your takes are just so terrible...the guy assisted the game winning goal FFS

then your take that the Flames are barely above the Sens when they are also above the Canucks and Oilers win percentage

Has anyone figured out why Rinaldo and Froese were in the lineup. Rinaldo played 2:04 and Froese played 4:50. You can't tell me these two were our best options for the 4th line.

Great last 40 mins, Markstrom held them in it in the first. Lucic-Backlund-Mangiapane were the best line.

Need to find away to play a full 60 mins. Need to work on the PK.

OK so Monahan is not good enough then? We agree on that.

Sorry, I'm just annoyed with the guy. He flat out sucks. Unless Johnny feeds him gimmies. Otherwise he is completely invisible.

And my point isn’t about how good the Flames are - it’s about where the Lindholm v. Monahan lines rank. Which is 1a 1b.

I actually think it helped that the 4th line was so bad that they barely played it.

Rinaldo played because it’s a Battle of Alberta and the team had been soft as baby poop for a week.

Dunno about Froese.

You joke but he took the penalty that led to Dube's goal. Very valuable.

No, Monahan isn’t the best defensive centre on the team, and when McDavid plays half the game, his ice time goes down. Shockers.

Oh for the love of God just ignore Red, he is so obvious not a Flames fan. He is in here for on purpose only, to troll. I have put him on my ignore list, it seems pointless since so many of you are quoting him.

Pike made a good point on the radio earlier today.

There's no point in playing Gawdin/Phillips in a heated Battle of Alberta as their first game this year. Lots of pressure.

The fact that Rinaldo and Froese played so little kind of furthers that point. Would you really want Gawdin to suit up, only to play 2 minutes?

It might be better to play the rookies against Ottawa or maybe Vancouver.

Assisting on a goal doesn't make up for being invisible. Dude is a top line C. Plays like a passenger. And we wonder why they talk about MC David or every other opposing teams players. We'll, they are visible.

And let's be honest here, which games this season did the Flames play well? One, the 3:0 win vs Canucks. All other games they were being outplayed for most, thank Marky for stealing some. They have been a huge disappointment, no?
