The common feeling will probably be, "I liked the first one, the second one sucked, so I probably won't be seeing this in the theatres."

I loved the first one, so expecting number two to be as good or better was something I wasn't gonna do. I went into Ocean's Twelve with an open head, and you know what, when I saw it, I didn't think it was all that good. But I have watched a couple of times on Movie Central and I absolutely love it now. The music in it is awesome. The song while the dude is going thru the laser beams is awesome. But there was more to the movie than good music. There was more to it than just the robbery, there was more to the characters. Having said that, I still take number one over number two anyday. My point being is if you havent seen Twelve since the theatres, maybe give it another go, you might like it better.

Ocean's Thirteen looks cool, Soderbergh is the man, he hasn't put out a movie that I haven't loved, alright, Solaris kinda blew. But Out of Sight was awesome, Traffic was great, The Limey is one that shouldn't be missed, Ocean's Eleven....and the list goes on and on.

Can't hardly wait. The first was really good, the second one sucked just b/c of Julia Roberts' role, which was funny for a one second snicker, but it was dumb and a copout. Hopefully this one is more like the first. Great series to keep going though.

Bah, the titling of Ocean's 13 is representative of my pet peeve in naming movie sequels when the first installment had a number in the name. Another example of this horrible practice is "The Whole Nine Yards" which was followed by "The Whole Ten Yards."

Sorry, rant over. You kids get off my lawn.

Doesn't Ocean's Twelve sound better than Ocean's Eleven 2??? Maybe it's just me, but I think they way they do it is fine.

Meh, Ocean's Eleven: Part II makes more sense to me. Movie titles with numbers in them are problematic when it comes to sequels but first they should concentrate on not giving the entire movie away in the trailers before they worry about naming.

And you feel they gave away the plot in the Oceans 12 preview or do you mean previews in general??

I agree with you on this one. I liked the first one, was excited to see the second one but felt really disappointed. I ended up buying it on dvd anyways and I enjoyed it a lot more. I will probably see the third one. I liked the style of the first two, I think the cast is pretty good and good together, hopefully, it's good from the first viewing on.

I'm a huge Soderbergh fan myself, except for that lame improv-style movie with all the big A-list hollywood stars - name escapes me.

(pulls up IMDB)

Full Frontal!

That bit.

I didn't mind Solaris - difficult movie to make though - such a strange story. I think he did an OK job, it didn't work on all levels, but I enjoyed it none the less.

The Limey though was/is his best movie..

I think it will be better than Ocean's 12... but nowhere near Ocean's 11.

11 was a classic.. literally..

The original 11 or the remake 11?
