Not the prettiest win by any stretch, but I'll take it. Once the team decided to show up in the 2nd, it was all Flames from that point onwards.

Not the best game from Markstrom overall, but he made some huge stops when it mattered.

Johnny, Bennett, Dube, Looch, Backlund, and Chucky all played great tonight.

Awesome D at the end of the game there when the Flames players were clearly gassed. Markstrom was also terrific during that entire sequence.

So close. 5-2.

At least McDavid didn't run the goalie again.

Great final 40 minutes. Probably Lucic's best game as a Flame. The Oilers may have been just what this team needed to get a little offensive confidence.

Was about to mention this. Backlund has taken a lot of crap here this year but tonight he was dominant.

Monahan: 14:56 time
Gaudreau: 16:13

McDavid: 28:16
Draisaitl: 27:03

They must actually have comparable points/60 minutes played.

Great to win. Need to build on it. Backlund had a great game - now keep doing it Backs.

People are free to behave however they want obviously but why do you guys get so upset by commentators? The complete opposite of unflappable. Many posters have a brittle spirit. One thing doesn't go your way and you guys lose your ####. How do you even function in life?

I love Markstrom

Gaudreau has been great. Bennett added more to that line than anyone since Ferland IMO, I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't stick there for at least another game or two

If I was an Oilers fan I'd be furious about the direction of that team. You have 2 of the best players in the world and have failed to get them any help at all. The 6+ minute shifts at the end of the game are sad/hilarious
