Yeah, I had guessed that, but it's weird because she hasn't really used it at all since Ultron. She sounded pretty American in Civil War and especially the last two Avengers movies.

Yeah seems to have worked it’s way back in slightly.
I didn’t hate it.

I remember seeing memes back in the day saying stuff like "Today I Learned the Olsen twins have another sister!"
Now Elizabeth is arguably becoming the most successful of the lot.

Celebrity-wise she’s definitely becoming more famous but the twins are worth about a half billion $ now after they cashed in on everything merchandising opportunity possible in the 90s.

So some sort of tunnel to the world of the dead may be happening which allows quicksilver to exist in this world with him being recast just being a 4th wall joke.

Not a chance, the entire MCU is built on the premise of intricate webs of tie ins. And they've never shown and compunction about direct foreshadowing. These is no accident casting this guy.

If she is starting to pull matter from a multiverse, they could be different souls from a different universe, it might retroactively be the first crack in the multiverse.

I actually enjoy the sitcom more than the outside world now. The sitcom has this unseen horror vibe. Almost lovecraftian.

Billy can bend reality, Tommy is going to be really fast. For some reason these powers seem to come as a combo in twins.

Lots of good comments I won't bother repeating, so I just want to say that this was probably my favorite episode. Things are starting to click.
The "re-cast" was a good example of the setup paying off.
It's pretty funny just as an idea, but it's also kind of unsettling and even horrible when you think of the in-world ramifications, and it's also very meta. Kind of brilliant, love it

Without reading this whole thread, and watching the first episode and being so bored to tears I contemplated why bother...
Is it worth it to carry on? How many more episodes of boring is required to get to good parts after episode 1?

2.5 episodes of setup but the payoff is worth it and actually makes you appreciate those episodes.
I rewatched them all again last with my family because I didn’t think they’d like it after the first couple but it was a good binge and they really enjoyed it. I wouldn’t wait though if you hate spoilers because the surprises likely will get spoiled.

The episodes get much better beyond the first two. I'm in total agreement, they should have been 10 minutes shorter each. They are boring and didn't need to be that long to get their point across.

I thought it was funny how they teased her superhero name without bringing it up, then Darcy ended up calling the anomaly a 'Hex'. It's the little things in Marvel storytelling sometimes.
And this seems almost absolutely a set-up for what to expect going forward in MCU Phase 4: multi-verse.
Also, for fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, it sounds like Disney is considering re-booting the series in some fashion and properly incorporate it into canon.

No reboots of Agent's of Shield, in the end it was an awesome show with a great cast that shouldn't be messed with.

It was good but at times too much filler and sub-par effects. The story and characters were good though.
Shortened seasons with bigger budgets for each episode would go a long way for SHIELD. Lots of opportunity to bring in other characters now that they have access to the Fox/X-Men catalog of characters too.

I would invest up to the current episode (5) and then quit if you are still not interested. At least make to 4.

But it absolutely should be re-canonized, it was a mistake they started to ignore it.
Especially since they are seemingly going to be able to ret-con somewhere between 13 and 16 completely unrelated movies into the cannon. But I'd agree they should keep moving on to new concepts.
I would like to see more of; Quake, Graviton, MockingBird, Fitzsimmons, and Koenigs, in the MCU. I'm actually comfortable with characters like Jimmy Woo & the Koenigs taking over the space Colson occupied going forward. They've play his story out as far as it needs to go.
The only thing that should never ever be canonized is the Inhumans, it's embarrassing that they actually have that on Disney+, they should just burn all copies.

So with this episode and Wanda is just re-arranging ppl/objects to fit the current setting of her world. Is she subconsciously doing all this or is it someone else? If it is Wanda's subconscious, did Wanda just re-arrange some dead bodies for that "re-cast" and her kids? Super creepy if that's why there are no children other than hers in the town. Like the material for those three had to have come from somewhere, show says she isn't creating something from nothing like with the skipping rope/Monica's Kevlar pants... maybe the "re-cast" is actually the beekeeper getting re-arranged after Wanda's "no".
