My thought is lots of guys who are jerks have won the Stanley Cup and are in the Hall of Fame.

It's obviously tough to bring in a guy like this in the Twitter era though. Especially for the Flames, where defense is not really an issue.

The thing that really concerns me is the Trumpster part. Those guys live in their own little world, completely separated from reality. I'm not really sure I want that in the dressing room.

Offense from the defense is absolutely an issue.

In fairness, sometimes our defense is already pretty offensive.

I can look past his political views, actually. I can look past dumb opinions if they're not hateful. But the fact that's he has an actual attitude problem and is bad in the room just makes it unthinkable all together.

So roughly 1.36 million in Ontario as opposed to 612k Albertans support Trump.

Maybe he'd be better suited for TML?

Not a psych major but the incidents suggest an inability to accept defeat, the narcissist who can not fathom that they could possibly fail, it is therefore the fault of those around the narcissist.

The win at all cost narcissist and their personal inability to accept defeat may best be characterized by their denial of weaknesses or the existence of things beyond their control. A tendency to devalue and degrade others stems from a lack of comprehension it's even possible for them to lose as they protect their ego centric image.

Pretty sure most professionals can keep that out of their workplace.

I say most because who knows with this guy

I would be equally pissed at having a looney tunes vocal Bernie supporter on my team as a vocal "trumpster"

I think maybe the biggest issue with the team right now might be Tkachuk. If he was playing like he can, then the record would be a lot better, but I don't think it has anything to do with the line combinations. Some have wondered if he might be nursing an injury; whatever it is, I sure hope he gets over it.

Not considering populations of both provinces?

There are 15M people in Ontario compared to less than 5M in Alberta

Of course that's the reason.

No carbon tax, pipelines, and low taxes.

Trump would be far better for the Alberta economy. Plus he would be such an embarrassment that it would convince provinces to push back and not let the feds walk all over them for once. Federalists need to be taken down a peg haha.

I took that into account. Percentage wise it was 10 percent support for him in Ontario, compared to 15 here. Hardly some wild discrepancy.

Theres idiots everywhere and I get sick of this misconception like Alberta is some outlier. People here vote on what panders to their common interests wether that winds up coming to fruition or not in the results, Same as any other province, Theres COVID deniers and Trumpers in every other province too but for some reason people around here like to make it sound like were in the Florida of Canada. It's not true. People forget you cant throw a stick around here without hitting someone from Ontario who came during the oil boom.

Not a chance the second option happens.
