Even IF Flames trade for him, don't expect it for them to be doing it to have him actually play on the roster.

BUT, if it does happen, and it's intentions for him to play, than the Calgary Flames have earned the reputation for being the team to harbour racist personnel. Really fits in well with the Alberta Rednecks stereotype that outsides like to say.

There's definitely a lot of smoke around this, but hopefully not for the latter scenario. Otherwise I can't support this team if they actively making terrible people part of the organization.

It'd be a slap in the face, considering our franchise icon is a black guy, plus the amends we tried to make with Akim Aliu over Peters.

Can't just take Deangelo without moving other money. Deangelo makes 4.8. Flames are only 500,000 under the cap. Agreed that any deal to NYR would have to have Lucic in it.
