The forwards are always completely stopped when they get the outlet pass from the defence. So frustrating. That's part of the reason they look so slow.

When I became a huge fan back in the early 90s and watched over a decade of ineptitude, it always was tolerable if there was effort.

I think Calgarians can tolerate losing. I really do. It’s actually not about that. It’s the eye test on effort that this team fails at so miserably for this fan base. You know this is a hard working town... the players just lose so much respect if they aren’t willing to put in an honest effort more often than not and they just don’t.
