Thanks for confirming he's a bad guy Wes.. why didn't you say anything when you saw it happening?

I think it's time to classify the Catholic church as a criminal organization, these stories just get worse every year

According to wiki, Borland worked less than a year wirh Manson, doesn't seem like they even recorded anything together. Comments also sound like he never really liked Manson. Short professional relationship like that, it's unlikely Borland saw that much. Clearly enough to make up his mind about what kind of a person Manson is and how he treats women, that doesn't take much, but he wasn't someone close to either Wood or Manson, and it's unlikely he saw enough to start making noise.
Abusers usually aren't dumb enough to commit actual crimes in front of random guys from work.

I don't know if we can jump to conclusions about what is typical for "abusers" and whether that even applies to Manson.
I'm sure if he spent time with Manson, and if ERW was around be it in studio or at his home, Borland would be able to see the nature of the relationship based on their interactions. Maybe Manson spoke about his sexual activity to Borland.
However I highly doubt Borland was ever in a position to visually confirm most of the things I've read about Manson's alleged abuse. Not unless he was in Manson's bedroom with ERW and Manson.

Hahaha...
Wow.
You just compared Marilyn Manson to the Beatles.
Hats off... there are logical fallacies and false equivalencies but that is really something.
Yeah albino troll music from from the 90’s that no one cares about is the same as the Beatles. I hear that all the time.
Or.... no one has a fataing clue who that Marilyn Manson clown is unless you were an ultra-nerd who listened to the dullest most unoriginal music in the 90’s because they needed people to know how dark they were.
But by all means, keep enjoying things that smell like children made by the Creed of albino troll music. I’m sure it will age well.

$$ obviously. But fame and increasing their public profile also increases the difficulty facing their victims while bringing these stories to the forefront.

This is the weirdest post I've ever read. Like, dude, MM was a massive superstar in the 90s. Get over it. Did Marilyn Manson kill your dog or something? Or do you just really, really like creed?
Wait, Scott Stapp, is that you?

No idea where you are going with this, but MM is one of the most recognized musicians of the last 20 years of so, even if you can't name a song (you can) his persona and reputation made him a household name. Not the Beatles for sure, but to say he's a never was isn't fair. Approx 50 Million albums sold and according to Google, that's almost Double Creed who has not been active since 2013. Top 3 MM songs on Spotify have been streamed almost
400 million times on spotify as well. Pretty good for a never was

That's kind of my point. Borland was just a guy Manson worked with for a little while and who left the band because he didn't like Manson. Unless he actualy witnessed a serious crime he could talk to the police about, there's nothing he can do.
I've been in that situation, trying to do something about an abusive relationship near me, but if the abused person doesn't want to leave and doesn't want to hear what you have to say (which is typical), there's nothing that can be done. If you're really close, like a sibling or a childhood friend you might have a chance make a difference with perseverance, but this wasn't the situation woth Borland and Manson/ERW.
All he can do is this littlw bit of support now, and good for him for stepping up.
Btw Borland isn't the only one saying this stuff, a guy named Dan Cleary who at one point worked as Mansons personal assistant has also come out saying he saw Manson humiliate and verbally abuse two of his girlfriends.

Thinking about it some, while I wouldn't put MM in the same company at The Beatles, I'd put him with Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie.
FWIW, I don't like any of their music in general (OO and AC have some good songs) but I've heard of all of them.

Oh yeah, definitely, that Boreal post was very far off in historical context alone. But even more far off and missed the point entirely talking about how MM is old news from the 90's. That shows that he didn't even really read what was going on here.
MM's rock star credibility in this context is based on his prime (90's/early 2000's) as that's when he was with these women and did what he allegedly did. Due to that missed understanding it came off as "old man yells at cloud".

Not sure if serious.
That is literally the perfect peer group for Manson. On the shock rocker Mount Rushmore, it is those 4 dudes. And it ain’t even close.

I don't know about the place he holds with metal-heads, but I know if I mentioned Marylin Manson to my dad (60 yrs) he would know who I'm talking about, and probably use the word "freak" in whatever sentence he said next.
I like a few Manson songs, I wouldn't really call myself a fan, so it's not like I was blasting any MM at home as a teen. There was probably much more Linkin Park coming from my room at that time, and he would have no idea who that is if I just said the name. Would definitely remember MM though.
