Three times this game, I've noticed Bennett using his linemates better, with some nicely timed outlet passes. And then I noticed once Monahan, and twice Gaudreau. Might be something to that.

What? Yes, Rittich needs to make the save.
But Lucic's turnover was brutal. Lazy and effortless. Not to mention, extremely easy to predict, because he telegraghed it. That's why it was so easily picked off.
It was also a bad play by Gio because passing it to a standing still Lucic was pointless.

Feels like there's not enough cohesive team play right now. Players pushing it up the ice on their own, but not so much team passing and control.

I called it lazy at the time but I think in reality he just semi-fanned on it and didn’t get any mustard on it. Ill advised play though.

We have plenty of players that can score, this team has great depth on paper. Geoff Ward hockey though stifles any kind of skilled offense.
