Back to back 5-4 OT wins with Eichel getting the winner in both.

The good:
Offence is clicking.
Eichel is awake. Followed up his hattrick with 2 goals and 2 assists. OT winner in two straight games. He must have heard his name in trade talks.
Price settled in nice making 40 saves.

The bad:
The new guys-
Reilly -3 with no points in his first game back.
Danualt- injury in his first game with the Habs. Out about two weeks.

We will take the 2 points and move on.

Damnit. Cant win them all. Sort of expected a loss against the Lightning. Ryan Miller didnt play well in net but we managed to steal a point. Our top line was unable to shutdown the Lightning offence. We scored 2 PPG but allowed 1 as well. We said hello to Lazar though.

19:20 of 2nd period - Curtis Lazar is hit by Justin Bailey and loses puck.

Overall, coaching had probably something to do with it. We will learn and move on.

Sharks back in a playoff spot and leapfrog 3 teams and now sit in 7th with at least 3 games in hand on teams around us. Bergeron continues to impress since joining the Sharks however Mackinnon is still struggling even with a demotion to the 2nd line. MAF has been excellent.

Just keep winning.

3 Stars
1 - Chris Kreider (SAN)
2 - Brian Dumoulin (SAN)
3 - Valeri Nichushkin (VAN)

Bernier lights it up for a second game in a row. Within 1 point of a playoff spot, the Blues are the hottest team in the league with an 8-0-2 record in the last 10.

I don’t know what to do... we continue to sell games to the worst team in the league

Another win. Lightning have gone 5-0-1 in their last six games. That is after 0-8-2 in the previous 10. Think I’ll do a semi-deep dive either today or tomorrow.

:/

My first line has gone sub-zero since Carter's injury. I think I should have won this one, but I was too tempted to ride Forsberg in.

Devils took it easy on us again and decided to only fire 14 shot on goal.
Nice game as the first of 2 in 2 days.
