The Flames are royally effed if Gaudreau ever leaves. Remove your hate blinders and he is a top 10 player in the league.

Top 10? You serious, Clark?

He was two years ago...so maybe he is getting back to that level. I mean he was top 5 in MVP voting.

I joked about it 2 years ago and got torched and people said no one ever called him that and it was bullying lol.
Man, has he come along way since that penticton tournament. Kid looks to be in great shape now and just engaged. Definently belongs playing next to gio. The d as a whole is looking good.

Dube is absolutely the correct player to reference when it comes to flow

A few thoughts tonight:
-Hanifin has taken another step. I don’t know if it’s because of Tanev or what, but he’s been rock solid all year. Really nice to see.
-Valimaki has turned it around the last few games. That quote from Andersson after the Montreal debacle got me thinking. We have some great guys on our blue line and I can’t help but feel like they played a big part in calming him down.
-Johnny and Monahan circa 2019 are back! This is why you don’t sell low and you don’t make trades just for the sake of making trades. Obviously if they make the playoffs we’ll see if it’s the same old story, but so far I have no complaints.
-Screw the haters. I like Lucic. Dude is playing some good hockey right now. You know how sometimes there’s bad players that you just like and defend at all costs? That’s Looch for me.
-Bennett if you play like that more often you’ll get your shot on the top line. Great game from him tonight.
-Leivo in the shootout didn’t bother me much. Sometimes coaches have a hunch, and they see things in practice that we don’t. Leivo in overtime though? That one baffled me.
-Thank God Markstrom isn’t on the Oilers or the Canucks.
-Chris Tanev is a beautiful human being.

I wonder if we can package Markstrom with Bennett. But it has to happen now to make sense.

Just a random thought popped into my head, does the poster who coined this phrase still come around and post?

He does not unfortunately.
The proposal at the time was Mike Cammellari UFA for Jonathan Drouin in his rookie season for those that weren’t around at the time.

What a fun game to watch. Started out poor but Flames got better as the game went on. Definitely had a fun playoff feeling to it. Gaudreau put on a good show. Beautiful tap-in goal and an even prettier shootout winner. You just knew he was going 5-hole and it was one of his prettier ones.
I was born and raised a Christian but done with that #### now; the only lord and savior in my life is Jakob ####ing Markstrom. What a signing and what a goalie. Thank you Canucks!
2 wins in a row. Hopefully the Flames can start to move up the standings. Looks ugly being in 2nd last in the division and even uglier to be behind the Oilers. Sucks considering we have the best GA in the division . Need our supposed 'depth' to start showing up regularly.

.... I don’t care about Leivo’s stats (just in general, thanks for sharing them though)
Gaudreau was our most engaged and dynamic forward all game, it’s unbelievable he was held to spot 4. Blows my mind.
