Bennett is having a great game.
This whole story is so weird. For a guy who wants to leave he really seems to be playing hard.
My guess at the end of the day is that Ward somehow mends the relationship.

I though CGY was looking for stretch passes. It slowing down the transition. Short passes and come up the ice with numbers. Stretch pass is easy to defend if WPG has numbers back in support.

Flames need some more power plays, they are not a 5 on 5 team, at least with this set of lines. Hoping to see at least 3 PP's in the third as it is hard to fathom this team getting 3 5 on 5 goals in a single game.

I think you don’t want tkachuk as he ages past 30. He’s already slow, and despite the incredible amount of heart and talent he has, slow guys don’t age well in this league

I imagine he's wanted out since the days of Versteeg-Bennett-Brouwer, and has sucked it up and just played since Tre won't deal him.

Have the flames intentionally slowed down their neutral zone play? The season opener they had D men engaged in the rush and quick transitions.
Fast forward to tonight, but each game it seems more and more they're slowing down in the middle. Also have the flames had a 2 on 1 or breakaway yet this game?
It just feels sluggish
