It's hard watching this team struggle every night. This is a terribly coached team.

Jets had more goals than the Flames had high quality chances. You could maybe charitably give the Flames one actual scoring chance, and even that would be a bit of a stretch.

Flames arguably the better team. Just couldn’t kill a penalty. They have to adjust the PK. Two goals on the exact cross ice play.

The Flames have the weakest offence in the division.

The fact they can't generate anything against this putrid Jets D is pathetic.

No, it's the the core. They don't play well together. Hardly ever have. How many coaches have they been through

Too bad our AHL coach has no spine. THe C should be ripped from Gio asap.
We aren't doing jack squat with him as the captain.

If you want to feel better, just watch the Habs Canucks highlights.

The tight officiating is wrecking the NHL.

Not really, just makes me wish the Flames were as good as the Habs.

Come on boys. Tighten up and move the feet. Support the puck. Be quick with puck movement and get it out clean. Play connected so the D can move it quick and not hesitate. When CGY is quick with puck movement they are at their best.

Played better at end but need to keep upping their game.

Missed the first? Did we keep the lines the same from the first 7 games? We are on pace to score the fewest goals 5 on 5 in the NHL this year.

The only player to drive the net so far was the guy who had his agent confirm on record he’d be open to a change of scenery.

Yeah, I’ve been negative - but this style of play was something we watched Gully coach for a few miserable years. It’s not entertaining, nor is it effective. It’s tough.

They’re actively slowing down the play on the breakout to move up the ice as a 5 man unit - except all its doing is giving the opposition the chance to get back defensively, so we move through the neutral zone with no speed/don’t have the space to make plays due to the good defensive positioning of the opposition.

This is a really troubling trend to start the year.
