Detroit Style is now my favorite type of pizza... deep dish with the crusty cheese baked on. I am happy I live 5 mins away from Pow Pizza in Renfew - my go-to when I want good pizza.

A large is only like 8 pieces, but 2-3 and I am FULL (and I can eat a LOT).

I am curious to hear what the reviews are from the CP crowd.

Red Swan is pretty average in my opinion. The uniqueness of the sesame seed crust is nice, so I will give it a very minor bump above average.
Worth checking out if you live near by, but not worth going out of your way. 6/10

Lina's now has a third location in Brittania.
I can not stress how good their pizza is and I'm so happy to have a location so close to my house.

Thanks. Been wondering when they were opening.

Technically in Windsor Park.

For Deep SE-er's has anyone tried Pink Door Pizza? It's a virtual restaurant for now run out of the old Beer Revolution on 130th by the Starbelly group. You can order for pick up or delivery in advance on Skip. I guess they sell out quick.
Had their pepperoni and two of their specialty pizzas last Friday, all three amazing. Favorite was the You my Boy Blue - blackened sirloin, caramelized onions, crispy fried onion, gorgonzola, pickled fresno chile, cajun butter, mozzarella. Crust is unreal.

Anyone tried Mash in Kensington? They are opening a spot in Mahogany Westman Village. They use upcycled mash from Half Hitch Brewing for their crusts. Seems interesting.

I enjoyed it but man it's rich to the point I felt guilty after eating it. A little bit too much meat on that one for me but the quality of the toppings are top notch. Next time I will get a pepperoni or the Pandemic pizza. My wife got the POW pizza and she claims it's the best pizza she's ever had but she likes blue cheese and those weird toppings.

We tried Fastlane Pizza on Acadia on the weekend. I'd put it low-middle of the pack for the greek & hawaiian, and high-middle for the tandoori chicken pizza. Crust and sauce were just too sweet for me on the regular pizzas but the flavour on the tandoori chicken was really nice.

We did Pink Door Pizza tonight for dinner. Did it through skip as their in person ordering was the same price and seemed to have mandatory tipping. Wouldn't do through skip again. Was over 90 mins from order to delivery. I am pretty sure the driver was doing multiple deliveries.
Taste was okay, super salty. I got the Korean one and I think I was the least satisfied. Would try again I think but I wasn't super impressed for the price.

You could always contact Skip if that is the case. We’ve noticed that a few times recently and tracked our driver using the app. If we notice them taking a different route or having a 30 minute delivery take 60, we contact skip right away and usually get a refund. It especially irks me because we tip beforehand so there is no incentive for the drivers to be accountable.
We had POW the other night from the Brentwood location and loved it! We used to go to Carmines for some quality pizza but they’ve been slipping lately and I actually think POW makes a better pie. So definitely recommend!

I did that and got my money back. I find Skip to be pretty good about that stuff.

We got Starbelly pizza this weekend.

My girl got the Margarita and I got their spicy Hawaiian (i usually don't get Hawaiian) and they were good. Son got a burger and my wife their mushroom/bacon gnocchi.

Try Starbelly, it seems like you are in my hood.

On first read, this was a wild ride! I thought you were having a nice date night with your lady friend... but then you brought your wife!

LOL I thought the same thing when I read his post. In my mind I was like "This guy got a wife, a girlfriend, and some pizza? Now that's how you spend a Saturday night!"

That sounds like more effort than it is worth.

I wasn't blown away by it, but it's now apart of my regular pizza rotation. I would say its comparable, if slightly below, Pizzaface
