Came to this thread to post exactly this. The game is over. Let the players that play 10 mins a night get some reps. There is zero point in doing this other than padding the stats of the players. What a joke.

Pretty classless and poor sportsmanship there. You would expect someone else to at least see the ice on the power play in a blowout game. I was expecting the first unit to get off a minute in but they stayed out there the full two minutes to pad those stats.

Oilers play the sens 4 times in the next week. I'm not sure running up the score and keeping your star players on the ice a ton in third would be very smart.
