I love the comments about his political leanings. I don’t know the back story on this guy so maybe they go deeper but the folks that are trashing him because he’s a conservative supporter you have some serious problems.

The Athletic says that 3 sources confirmed Gregoriev and DeAngelo got into a altercation after the OT loss.

His play must be a complete dumpster fire right now. It’s not like the rangers didn’t know who he was off the ice when they signed him 2 months ago to $4 million + per year contract.

Well this right here is the problem. His political leanings are not the major issue?? This indicates they are an issue though in your mind. Political leanings have nothing to do with hockey and this narrative that anyone who isn’t left leaning is somehow a lesser person is pathetic. Clearly the guy has problems, being a conservative supporter isn’t one of them.

I think you are looking for a fight where there isn't one.
Within the normal boundaries of the political spectrum - I don't care what a players' views are.
But when their views start to include extremism manifesting in racist and homophobia - then I do care.
No one here is saying that "anyone who isn't left leaning is somehow a lesser person". NO ONE.
Go ahead and take the side of Tony Angelo on this one. See how that plays out. Or take the time to educate yourself on what this guy is about and what he's done in the past. He is an absolute piece of garbage.

Apparently happened last night after the game.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the story is apparently that DeAngelo blasted Georgiev (some have implied he blasted Zibanejad and Panarin too) for his play behind the net in OT that eventually led to the goal and Georgiev clocked him.
