Sleeper pick is right. Even I didn't have him being this good to start the year. Obviously it helps playing with Barkov, but still, he's been earning that privilege.

Rieder scores his 3rd of the season for Buffalo. Is it weird that I kind of miss him on the Flames? Didn't do a ton but was decent in the playoffs and I suppose he won that person a car. He'd be a great fit on the bottom 6 here.

Those Oiler Jerseys are nightmare fuel. The Leafs are not much better. They look like the bastard child of the Lightning. And then you see the Flames jerseys and they are just perfection...

no, what I had heard was they couldn't be worn before February. (Feb 6 is when CGY is wearing them for the first time).

With EDM/TOR... I wonder if they got approval to wear them on Jan 30 on HNIC as sort of a marquee debut for the RR line.

I switched channels to see the score in the Leafs/Oilers game and my wife thought it was a college game. She thought the uniforms were terrible for both teams.
