No way, Dinosaurs, next binge watching project. One of the saddest series finales ever.
We should have a thread, if we don't already, about the saddest series finales. There are a couple of dramas that I remember from my teens that were pretty brutal.

I think I did a list on it at one time.
But off the top of my head.
Dinosaurs - They all die
ALF - Captured by the government and abandoned by his alien brothers.
Clone Wars - Anakin as Vader, Ashoka burying the clones
Cheers - after agreeing to sell the bar and move to California with Diane, Sam changes his mind, they break up and he stays at the bar
Little House on the Prairie - After being screwed by a land developer who buys the town. The residents of Walnut grove blow up the town. End up homeless
Roseann - None of the good things happened, the family was white trash and nothing went right, Dan was dead, it was all a book about unfulfilled fantasy.
Angel - They fight a fight that can't be won. Weasley dies, and eventually everyone else died. It ends with an optimistic, I want to fight a dragon line from angel. But we know that everyone dies painfully.

I watched the pilot for Dinosaurs, thought I could watch it with my kid, but the way he talks to his wife? lol

For me nothing comes remotely close to Blackadder.

I made my wife watch it and she already thinks Jim Henson stuff is weird, but I’ve always talked about this show! The baby saved it at the end or I may have been rewatching alone.

The baby and grandma were the best characters. I started watching it last night and it was pretty shocking to hear some of the dialogue and tone.

Playing devils advocate, I do think a lot of the housewife stuff was tongue and cheek back then, so while by todays standards the dialogue is a bit off putting, they were trying to make light of things, purposely exaggeration things they saw as improper in society.

In the Angel comic book that followed after those events, they won and Angel tames and befriends the dragon
Star coming to Disney plus for free looks pretty good. Not much new content but a pretty good selection of movies and TV being added at no cost.
Essentially all the fox content for adults.
Star has M*A*SH*. My wife will love that!
I looked at the list and there is quite a big of content that I'd like to watch again, or never had a chance to watch the first time around. New content is great, but there is enough old content out there that you could keep yourself entertained for a long time.
Star has lots of great movies and TV. Here's a list of all the stuff coming to Canadian Disney+. It'll be interesting to see how they lay out the app because a lot of these are definitely not kid friendly.
I'm thinking a parental control activating the Star interface to show up on each profile.
Or you'll select a total separate interface but only adult activated profiles will be able to see the option.
Either way, good news for subscribers. I recently cancelled netflix and only access via family account. Same with Prime. We may do the same with Disney now that it has more content.

Some solid movies in there. I will definitely be watching Zardoz.
Edit - didn't even see the TV shows. I might have to watch Blossom as I remember very little of it. Also nice to see Futurama finally streaming on something again.

Yeah, I heard about that and hated the idea. Angel knew he was never going to stop the apocalypse, it was coming no matter what. He wanted to basically poke Wolfram and Hart and the Senior Partners in they eyes and hurt them and maybe slightly delay the inevitable. He was willing to sacrifice himself and his team to do that after killing all of the members of the I think Canted circle.
I prefer that to, they all came back ok.
