That’s why you keep them together year after year after year. Eventually they grow a heart. It’s basic science.

Worst goal allowed by Calgary this season...Although it's not like Markstrom would have scored any goals so this was a loss either way

Despite losing both, I thought we were good for at least one win against Toronto. This game, we don't deserve Jack. Shades of gulutzan in that I can't Remeber us really being threatening despite the ok shot numbers.

Everybody in the country saw the Mangiapane high stick, play slowed, arena silent, broadcasters silent. Nothing. In favour of the Flames. This deficit is on the Flames and nobody else.

Just buyout Lucic and eat the cap. Guy shouldn’t even be a popcorn muncher.

It's easy to not take penalties when the Flames don't seem to even try and attack with speed. They play a perimeter game and generate very little. Hell they can barely connect 2 passes in a row.
There's no need for Montreal to reach with their sticks or interfere when the Flames are this flat.
It looks REALLY easy for Montreal so far.

This the quick transition, quick-strike offense that Ward was talking about in the offseason?
He has no idea how to implement it.
Combine that with the fact that he's not much of a motivator either, painful.

Flames play a completely structured offensive game, which means no rushing attack chances, and leaves them susceptible to odd man chances which the other team makes good on.
Incredibly boring to watch, and the results speak for themselves.
No changes needed though Wardo. Throw out the same 18 skaters next game. Jolly good.

Might as well throw Gaudreau, Tkachuk and Monahan together, and see if you can get a line hot that can carry you for a few weeks. This team is paper thin offensively, and leaks transition goals, because they are inept at cycling.

Exactly, the Flames will disappoint you around 50 percent of the time and they will satisfy you about 50 percent of the time. If they make the playoffs they will disappoint you about 67 percent of the time and satisfy you about 33 percent of the time.

Treliving is not a bad gm, you have to sometimes wait for everything to come together and have some luck along the way- look at Bergevin, they were calling for his head last year and now he has what seems to be a really good team. As long as he is making more good moves than bad, and he has, let it play out.
