My point exactly. I know the forum loves harping on how Mangiapane, Ryan have potential, but the reality is with their skills they're high end is 2nd line. And between Bennett and Backlund there just seem to be too many of these 2nd and 3rd line guys. Gotta give some of these guys up in a package to get that high end talent on the forwards and backend too.

Good push here and just a small sample but I feel like that huge layoff has totally derailed the team.
Flames were in the groove and then you give every other team 2 or 3 games more live fire and sharpness and have to try and catch up. And they just look hungover since the long break.
Poor in their execution since Whiffing on passes and shots, blowing basic defensive coverage etc.
Sure wish we could get a dose of playoff bennett or somebody else throwing a big hit or doing something to engage the rest of the team. Man what happens to bennett in the regular season
