I think that was the worst period of hockey I have seen the Flames play since the Canucks game...

- this team’s 5v5 strategy is not acceptable. Breakout is bad. When in the offensive zone, they play Gulutzan hockey of cycling the perimeter and taking weak stationary shots
- this team does not have the 12 forwards required to roll 4 lines, so for the love of god stop it
- I am more sour on the hiring of Ward today than at any point since he was named interim head coach
- The 5v5 play of this team is a problem that has been around for a long time.

Quite the accomplishment making this leafs team look like the 95 devils.

No heart, no execution, no pulse practically.

Hope they can turn it around but I am getting so damn tired of how this team can just vanish for periods at a time.

TOR pressured all over and CGY handled it poorly. CGY needs to play simple and direct. Move puck north with speed and get shots and traffic.

Regroup and find compete level. Need to get traffic in front of Andersen and just battle.

Too much cute to start. Play direct.

I’m pissed off about the no shots and poor looking effort.

But I legit want to know why there is a need for 4 officials on the ice?

They get in the way along the boards and still make terrible calls.

If there is only 3 and all 3 of them can call penalties why do we need a 4th?

I know I’m pissed off about the wrong thing after that mess but that phantom call really pissed me off cause you knew it was going to lead to a goal.
