A bit different angle and you could see what’s actually painted on the helmet

The guy running the twitter account isn't the guy that took the photos.

I imagine that mask will look good with the retro jerseys. I dislike those jerseys and the horse head logo, but the helmet is well-paired with them.

Me too. But I think Markstrom's whole setup more than makes up for it. So far, the pictures look amazing. (And, according to reporters who have been sworn to secrecy about the details, it sounds like Rittich's set is even better.)

Blasty is easier to incorporate into a mask than our Cs.

Everything about that logo and those pads is as though they were designed by primary school kids for primary school kids. That's not necessarily bad, but I can't say I like it much.
 Edit: Referring to BSD's pads

At first glance it looked like Markstrom was reusing his equipment that went with the Canucks flying skate jersey.

Love the use of the Flames on Rittich's set. Don't like that the horse gets split down the middle. This works for some logos but I don't like it for Blasty and it is not actually segmented down the middle, there is more than 50% of the logo on each pad.
