Net presence needs to improve. Too many seeing eye shots on to the chest of the goalie early on. Rusty start but you cant win em all. Not sure about the offence from the back end and we really missed Dube I believe.

Great game by both goaltenders.
Bad bounces cost the Flames but overall you can't fault them for their effort.

Flames played fine- especially after a 5 day break. Deserved at least a point I think. They will win more than they lose with that effort.

I didn't TOR outplayed CGY but they had the more dangerous chances (if that makes sense) but Markstrom was great again. Yes bad bounces but Markstrom stopped breakaways and close in danger areas.
Obvious statement but CGY didn't play fast or direct early and they just kind of didn't get anything going. Lucky bounce on a non dangerous shot and it's 1-0. The push back has to be better.
CGY did play better but couldn't squeak on through. TOR a good opponent so have to be good all game.

It's mandated by the league to adhere to the contractual obligations with Adidas. We have to wear them 6 or 7 more times this season

serious question, has Markstrom allowed a goal that didn't hit a Flame or take some other kind of weird bounce?
Tuesday should be better, Looch with a rough start to the season.
