CGY shots did generate some rebounds but unlucky to get to them. CGY just needs to pick it up a little - I think they played pretty good all things considered.
Markstrom was very good too. Just get a little crisper, connect those passes and get control of the game.
CGY just needs to execute their little details a little better and they are going to roll.

Talking about the Oilers on a Flames broadcast is precisely why I’m watching the football game at intermission instead.
Sportsnet is absolutely clueless and never plays to their audience. I really wish the Flames would leave them. Brutal coverage.

Thought Flames looked good, back and forth period but flames generated a lot more than the shot count indicates.

Giordano constantly flips flutter balls at the net. Everyone busts there ass, cycling the puck trying to generate scoring chances. Only to pass it back to watch Gio fluff one on net and kill the play. Half the time no one is even in front of the net to screen when he does it.

Okay, fair enough. Those should have been too many man penalties. But are the leafs just allowed to sit with they’re feet over the boards and play the puck of each others shin pads?
