Am I the only one who is thinking that Schmidt in for Tanev is maybe not such an upgrade on the Canucks blueline?

Schmidt was great on VGK, because the team play allowed him to do his thing.

In VAN, the team can't cover for him. Their D wasn't good last year (but was covered by Markstrom) and they are even worse this year.

7 games in and the Canucks are on pace to give up 264 goals. Thats not good even in an 82 game schedule...
