Nicole Kidman was the host for the repeat episode of SNL from Nov. 1993. She did an excellent mocking of her then husband Tom Cruise's dance of Old time rock and roll from Risky Business. The Stone Temple Pilots were the musical guest. It was a good show with the Wayne's World skit opening the show.

And the 2nd sprockets in the last month or so- the Dolly Parton episode featured the first ever sprockets April 89 and this was the last one (German jeopardy with Farley,Kidman and Hartman as the contestants) with Myers as a cast member (he returned to the role as host once) from Nov 1993
Anybody watch the John Krasinski episode? The opening "What still works" sketch, Blue Georgia, and the creepy zoom call kids were all pretty funny, and Update was solid as usual. Unfortunately the rest of the show was kinda weak.
I actually had more fun watching the old repeat episode with John Goodman that aired afterwards. Wayne and Garth reviewing Madonna's Justify My Love video was great, and the Bad Idea Jeans commercial parody is still hilarious.

Classic performance from Faith No More as well.
haven't watched the new one yet, did watch the Goodman- funny how many of those sketches I vividly remember (obviously many have been replayed I don't remember them all from one night 30 years ago I don't think)... you already mentioned Wayne and Garth and Bad Idea Jeans, but also the Church Lady with Sadam, spade with the action figures, Telly Savalas, etc . every sketch is one I remembered
Faith no More was fun to watch- easy to forget this is late 1990, so the year before Grunge broke, there was a lot of bad music kicking around- but not them!
interesting to look at the Musical Guests Goodman has hosted over the years, I have to think this is better than average?
