As Russo notes, both players are pending UFAs. Cole shoots left, Pateryn right.

Cole was a thorn in the Flames' side in the 2019 playoffs.

Avalanche have lots of deadline cap space. My guess is that we see them loading up for a run at the cup.

I am going to start cheering for Buffalo. I don't want them to be out and trading Hall to the Avs.
