Long term? Who knows...depends on how much success the team has or doesnt have.

I will say I would really like to see him away from Gaudreau for a stretch...he just defers to him too often.

I think the boys are only going to get more confident as they realize how dependable Markstrom will be for them.

No need to play scared like days past when Smith and Elliott imploded.

Agreed.

You're free to take a chance now and then if you have a good goalie. I remember the Kipper days fondly just for that reason alone.

Agreed. Confidence in your goaltender can do wonders for a team. Flames haven't had that in a long time.
