Similar WHL numbers, better AHL numbers, why not give him an actual look.

I think he would fit in great on that 4th line with Lucic and Bennett. He plays with a little edge for a small guy, and is great with the puck on his stick. Think they would work well together.

I wish I had an answer. I don't know why we don't give him a look either.

He's earned that, no question.

Edit: They're probably going to let him over ripen given his size and game, but I'm eager for that first audition.

Because unlike the Oilers, we have good depth and Phillips will have to force his way onto the team (as it should be). The Oilers just throw their prospects into the deep end because there's no one better to take the spot, and the prospect either learns to swim, or sinks pretty quickly. Then when they sink, the Oilers just discard them.

			Haha, oh Hamonic.
McDavid skates at Hamonic and you know it will end it one of two ways. A penalty against Hammer, or a goal against.

I mean, that was in on the hands a bit. But pretty ticky tack call for the Oilers.

Yup, no shocker here, and McDavid with his sour look bitchin at the ref. I'd give him two minutes for that.

Enough crying you whinebaby.

At some point you need to give them a shot too. He was pretty much a PPG in the AHL last year.

To me if you can do that in your first year or two in the AHL you deserve a look at the NHL.

I wish they would have left one spot open for either him or Gawdin instead of signing all three of Leivo, Simon, or Nordstrom

At some point you need to graduate a player to continue to develop them or else they will stagnate in the AHL.

			Wait a minute.
Are you trying to tell me that the Oilers ridiculous percentages driven PP success from last year isn't gonna happen again this year?

 Well, I never!

Pretty much, but the difference was McDavid. So painful to watch the Oilers.
