The Bruins nailed it with DeBrusk, but the three players picked right after Senyshyn are all really solid. That was a really strong draft in the first 2 rounds.

Was the Senyshyn pick one of the ones we used to get Hamilton?

I wouldn't say he was pretty hyped. He was a bit of a reach when the Bruins drafted him and was seen as a high risk/high reward type.

He was drafted 19th overall in 2015 but his career has been plagued by injuries. Issue is, I don't see a spot on the roster for an unproven player this season, playing important minutes in the minors with our other skilled prospects would be the best option but if claiming him means he needs to go on the taxi squad, hopefully the coaches would be willing to give him some after practice one-on-one training to focus on his foot speed. I know, I know but talent runs in the family, he's a big body, still young and has pretty good hands so i feel it's worth a shot.

No, that is his younger brother who was drafted 2nd overall in 2018 and was nearly a point per game last year in Carolina.

If that means Bennett is getting saddled with the leftover wingers, Lucic and Perry would make that probably the worst 4th line in the league to play against, and I think the play styles of all 3 would actually compliment 1 another. They're all grinders who will battle everywhere on the ice, and all have offensive instincts.

Maybe he could show the boys what it takes to go to the net and score a garbage goal in OT in the playoffs!!

Maybe you claim him and he then retires because he doesn't want to play for the Flames. That's a win - one less pest to deal with in the division.
