I don't care how old she is and I don't inexplicably dislike her. I have very good reasons. I'll talk about bad people however I want. Good people too. I've called many politicians many mean things, including Nancy. The events at the capitol won't change that.

You're also wrong that I have no idea who she is as a person. She's been a public figure for decades. I probably know more about her than any other elected official in the United States.

What matters is that a mob of violent people were after her ready to string her up. Whether or not she is faking emotions doesn’t matter- she has a right to express or feel her emotions.

Highly unlikely. Governments all over the country are on high alert, and the Department of State would have all changes monitored with automated notifications to multiple people. This would be resolved in minutes.

Yup, you are required to admit guilt when accepting a presidential pardon, and they don't cover state crimes. So if Trump pardoned himself then the current investigations by the NYSD could use it as evidence

I don't agree with any of this, except for the fact there are more important things in the world to talk about. Then again I never said this was important to me. It was a throwaway comment. I don't really care and neither does Nancy. It's not like she's reading my comments on CP.

However I can see that it is important to some of you and that's cool. I don't blame people for sticking up for her. Certainly wasn't my intention to trigger anyone or cause anyone distress over it. I may hate Pelosi a lot but I would never wish her physical harm.

If it was a throwaway comment, the number of posts you decided to reply to and defending your opinion certainly indicates otherwise.

Regardless, this was an attack on American democracy and a real threat to many lives, including Pelosi’s. Making “throwaway” comments about a recent deadly event being “political grandstanding” or emotional acting are really not constructive given the seriousness of the situation.

Oh, definitely. Pompeo has already launched an investigation. I kind of think a lot of the staff there feel like they have nothing to lose at this point, given that everyone and their dog is saying they won't hire anyone that worked for/under the Trump administration, so they figured why TF not, I'm dead in the water anyway.
