here she is, still at CTV

I'm definitely too old for this thread, but I've long admired her
and I'm quite positive that you can't do that on television certainly predated YTV as I remember it from my youth, although clearly it was later carried on YTV

My crush was on PJ Jenn who is different from Jazzy Jan. I don't remember he full name anymore. She later had some talk-show on CTV and also some RV road-trip show but I haven't seen her on television for about 10 years.

Fairmont hot springs in BC still has the Original Arcade Ninja turtles game. I know you can get them on emulator, but it's not the same when you aren't bashing the A and B buttons like you're trying to break them. I still play that game everytime I'm up there...Never seem to pass Level 3 anymore though
That was kind of random.
also...check this out haha.

Alanis morrisette was on that you can't do that on television show. I remember seeing her get a bunch of green slime dumped on her head all the time.

I don't remember that being on YTV, but I do remember it being on PBS. I hated that show.

You Can't Do That on Television was on the air before YTV started, but YTV picked it up.

Speaking of semi-old school cartoon. Does anyone remember one called 'T-Rex' or something similar. About 5 wise cracking T-Rex's who fought criminals (Little Boss and Big Boss, who where possible Triceratops). I'm only left with vague memories.

The best old school cartoon was Hercules.

Ah Hercules, great memories. The animator was too lazy to draw more than 2 frames per second. Every monster made the same 'hiss' sound.
Typical exchange:
Hercules: "Newton!"
Newton: "That's me! That's me!"
Hercules: "Fetch me an apple"
Toot: *toots*
Newton: "Herc! Behind you!"
Daedalus: "It is I, Daedalus, and I have just poisoned all the apples in this orchard!"
Hercules: "Suffering Psyches!"
and so on.
Daedalus was a bad dude, but his son was pretty cool...

Shades of Scorpius....
I remember watching PJ Janice, PJ Laurie as well as Phil
BTW, Janice was one of the original members of A-Channel in Edmonton back in the late 90s. I remember seeing her at Wal-Mart one day in the sporting good section.
I actually saw Laurie Hibberd on The Mom Show.... just flipping channels of course. She is married to Gelman of Regis and Kelly!

Except for the flaming cruise director guy that looked like Theo Fleury.... I didn't know whether to laugh or throw something at the TV.

No way would I have thought Gelman would have anything to do with any woman. This couldn't be anything but a sham publicity marriage.

I think we are actually the fortunate ones as the cartoons absolutely sucked in the 90s. Heck, they didn't even have a gazillion toys to go with each cartoon.

Could anyone tell me the name of the show in the 3rd video, about 3/4's of the way thru. You'll see computerized cartoon pictures (similar to those in reboot) of a Tiger, Raptor, and Ape.
It used to be a favorite of mine...

I'm going to just say this once. Jonathan Torrens on Joe Schmo 2 remains to this day just about the funniest perfomance I've ever seen. I'm serious. there was a marathon of it one day and spent the afternoon laughing so hard I was crying.
Video and arcade top 10 and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the BEST.
