Yup. A few bounces and those would have been his stats on the Flames too.

Wasn't Neal also on McDavid's line?
Put me on a line with McDavid and McDavid would make me look good as well!

Yeah when you put a brick beside a diamond it’s not that good looking.
Put it beside 2 piles of dog crap and it looks a lot better

The oilers have plenty of experience in this regard. Just look at their lines right now!

There aren't enough diamonds in that lineup to feed my family for the week.

Looks like Khairi and Nygard are waived. What does it say about them? It takes a special level of terrible not to be able to make that teams bottom 6.

Khaira is a replacement level 4th liner for sure, but also one of the only players on that team with balls.

Nope. Cubic Zirconias still look pretty nice and can fool people into thinking that they are the real thing. Nobody is going to get fooled with that.
They are polished turds. Management keeps on bringing in these polished turds and smirking at how they know that guys like Staples will point to it and say: "that's so damn beautiful", and help to convince the entire fanbase of how awesome it is.
Rinse and repeat every off-season.

No NHL team has a depth problem at the bottom of the roster. The Oilers forward depth problem is in spots 5-9.

Kind of surprised Neal wasn’t on waivers. Maybe they didn’t want him to start pouting this early in the season?

Incoming Oiler media shill with an article about how their depth is so amazing they had to waive guys that would be 2nd liners on any other team.
