I don’t think they’d want to trade Teravainen. They had a top ten Aho goals scored and it was more of a top ten amazing set ups from Teravainen.

Figured I’d just put this here for now, sounds like Possible COVID outbreaks for the Dallas Stars as well as possibly Columbus.

Nick Ritchie currently scrimmaging with Bruins. Guess the pto with us didn’t pan out. As per Joe Haggerty.

Yes, to answer your questions, Nick Ritchie is playing net front on the second PP unit for the Bruins in the scrimmage

The PTO was supposedly with Brett Ritchie, not Nick (who was traded to Boston last season).

Every time I see his name, it reminds me of how much I hate Feaster.

We need a "there's 2 Ritchie's?" meme right about now.

Sure, but Brett can still beat him up during family reunions.

There are a couple of idiot Flame fans on HF saying they would trade both Monahan AND Gaudreau in a deal for PLD. It is a brutal mix of criminally underrating our players and ridiculously overrating PLD. A guy with 61pts as a career high is getting 2 players that combined for 181pts in the same season where PLD put up those numbers.

Heard Lucic talking post practice. I was astounded to hear that the Bruins in 2011 won the cup and in 82 games the top scorers were he and Krecji with just 61 pts each. Bergeron had 47 that year! Apparantly the keys to the cup don't always involve having a 100 pts "star" center and an 80 pt second line center.

Trading at "any cost" is ridiculous. As usual we under value our guys then think that guys like PLD and Laine would be "superstars" here for some reason. You might think Jet and Columbus fans think the same way about their guys and muse about trading their problems and getting a "Gaudreau" . Grass is always greener on the oher side of the hill as they say.

Monahan and Gaudreau for PLD is idiotic. We would need a bunch more coming back with Dubois.

There is definitely more than one way to win a cup but teams like this are the exception not the norm. And they usually have other elite factors. A Chara in his prime for example.

And a Vezina winning goalie.

I believe it happens more than often with balanced team scoring than superstar scoring. For an example look at Chicago in 10, 13 and 15. LA in 14 and 12. Boston in 11. Even Pitt in 16 and 17 (still decent numbers by Crosby but nothing earth shattering).
