To them, none of this is really about policy, or political beliefs, or even helping Trump stay in office. To them the rampage in the Capitol was all about "hey everyone, look at me, I'm such a badass!"

I missed it when it was on at first but went back and watched it after how Don was impacted. That was crazy. I don’t get the emotion and hate these people have. It’s clear they have been programmed by Trump et al. There were a couple of people who did seem concerned for him asking if he was okay and (it wasn’t clear) possibly trying to get his gas mask off so he could breath easier. Also once it was off, someone pushed his shield back over his face.

THAT needs to be shown on parler or whatever and directly asked to all these supporters “Why would you do this to a fellow citizen?” I just don’t get people sometimes.

It sounds like they are planning another event before inauguration. I have a feeling they will be met with an entirely different force.

Most of the charges that are being announced so far are not felonies, but vandalism and destruction of federal property can be, and that's probably the felony that we'll see the most of.

But what I hear talked about a lot is felony murder, which could be a legal problem for a lot of these people, if that's a direction the DoJ chooses to go. Felony murder basically means that if you're committing a felony, and during the course of your crime someone dies, you can be held responsible for felony murder, even if you weren't intending to harm that person or even directly responsible.

Yes the whole BLM are just as bad argument really pisses me off, these are pretty much all well off middle class well fed white folks who are basically in charge of the richest country in the world and have nothing to fear which explains why their insurrection was as half arsed and tragi/comic as it was, the poor black underclass that occasionally is pushed too far have nothing in comparison, it doesnt excuse vandalism or arson when for just once in their meager lives they find themselves with a little bit of power and abuse it but it does explain it somewhat

When you live in a buble and only watch news channels from Fox, Newmax and OANN it's not suprising what we saw. All you heard from Trump since the elections were cries of this election was stolen, we won big and all the fraud surrounding it.

The ongoing anger and hatred he drummed up with his followers drove these people to storm the Capital. He incited an insurrection with his words.
