Agreed. Could have been a giant penis logo so we should count our blessings.

Jokes aside, I absolutely hate ads on jerseys or any type of player gear. But this one looks decent and unobtrusive. I think the team really lucked out in that the Scotiabank and Flames' helmets have complimentary colors and the curves in the helmet also compliment the SB logo.

If ads are the way to go, I'll take this.

Not gonna lie, I found this article reviewing all 14 helmet ads that were announced so far to be quite comical.

Pretty funny "rankings". This guy really hates the attempt by businesses to not call them ads. I had no idea they were calling them "entitlement partners".

Agree. It would make me feel like my fees are going to marketing and not actual service/returns.

The Scotiabank slogan is perfectly accurate, just incomplete. They never actually tell you the second half:

‘You’re richer than you think… and we can fix that for you.’

I think that the sponsors should look at changing their logos to fit the team they are advertising (obviously as a sub-brand). Scotia could simply add some yellow to their logo, or make the wings of the S have a flames outline. I could see people buying something like that and displaying it.

Just saw the end of the Leafs Blue vs. White game.

Looks like they get a red Scotiabank logo on their white helmets and it looks odd.

At least we have red in our colour scheme so it should look fine on our white helmets.

What if, say Bauer became an official helmet sponsor? Could they have their stickers cover up the logos of the non-Bauer helmet manufacturers?

I feel like there’s probably some version of a non-compete clause that would come into play there.
