Man, I never realized how much of a difference ads make on the boards. Felt very weird to see.

Not until Monday.

Why do some players like Johnny and Petterson have white Flaming Cs on the front of their pants and the rest don’t?

Have the Flames made any cuts from their training camp? I would think that should happen fairly soon

I dint think they will. It’s a compressed camp, not the usual month long one. I expect they are keeping the kids up so they have full teams for at least the game on the 11th. And the season starts on the 13th

And most of the cuts won't have anywhere else to go anyway.

There were several references during the radio broadcast of last night's game to the Flames brining in Brett Ritchie on a PTO.
Is this a thing? I haven't seen anything official and we are pretty much at the mid-way point of training camp.....
I agreed with the comments made during the broadcast that adding a 6'4" 220 lb RW to the taxi squad would certainly have some advantages, especially in these big rivalry games with Edmonton/Vancouver, so I do hope it happens.
Tough for a fan to take much away from listening to an intra-squad game on the radio, but it was sure good to hear how impressive Nesterov apparently was. Between him, Kylington, and Mackey, it sounds like there's decent, young 6-8 defensive depth.

for Ritchie, Zary, Pelletier and Kylington to be added to the camp roster, 4 cuts would need to be made
Wolf is the only one who can join now, with no limits on number of goalies

They're jacking them up and sourcing truck nuts as we speak but the supply chain has been impacted by covid

I'm only 10 minutes in but this is pretty good so far (just the hosts recapping scrimmage).
I really liked them saying this is a fast skating team. The breakout, transition was good and they tried to make plays off the rush.
Some of the better analysis I've heard.

Bennett part is great too. Play Bennett at centre!!! God it's obvious.

It's odd the C is the one with a black outline when that is not part of the retro set anywhere else.

I went back and did some digging and it looks like Johnny’s pants had them last year when others didn’t. Maybe a Warrior pants thing? Seems like a miss to not have them all consistent.
Markstrom’s pants also had the White C on the pants. You can see it behind the pad in a few images from last night.
First the chin straps and now this!?
