That Backlund touch pass is ridiculous. Hard to tell if it’s intentional but it’s crazy if it was.

Radio crew named Valimaki, Nesterov, Lindholm, Tkachuk, and Levio as standouts.
If Valimaki - Nesterov can be a solid 3rd pairing I really like the D core.
Likewise, if Leivo and Simon can work on the top 2 lines it allows the 3rd and 4th lines to be that much stronger and gives the team 2A/2B/2C lines and a solid 3rd line essentially. I think that style of hockey might be the key in this condensed season.

With the way they have that large block of seats retracted behind the home goal, I'm fully expecting to see a truck parked there by the time the season starts (just like they had at the World Juniors).

We are Nesterov's stepping stone as Montreal was Radulin's. I'm happy if that pans out even if it is only one season.
