And again your partially right. That's twice in a row. Kind of on a roll.
For example, violence against minorities and a double-standard in how the police deal with people, as evidenced you know, today, leads to an escalation in violence when the oppressed minority no longer want to accept that violence being perpetrated against them. A functioning society agrees to give the police that power, but when the people in power abuse that, then violent protests are inevitable.
Which is exactly the same thing as a bunch of people storming a government building and looking to commit violence because they can't accept the results of a peaceful democratic process.
But you already know that. It just doesn't fit your narrative. Your posts are disgusting.

Amazed they're back at it in the Senate tonight. I guess you can sweep a building pretty quick when the right number of cops finally show up.
They had Republican Markwayne (pickanameforChrissakes) Mullin on ABC earlier, condemning the actions of the mob, but taking no responsibility, and suggesting he'll press on with the objections to certifying Biden's win.
These people are such slime.

Right now a bunch of those Magas are out drinking and laughing about what a great day it was, and how they "owned the swamp" and walked away scott free.
And they don't know that they were in one of the most heavily surveilled places on earth, and they will very shortly be going to jail.
Only when they are in front of a judge, will it dawn on them that they've been mislead. Wish I could see their faces when it happens.

If you are going to step outside of the institutions available to attain your goals, and also use violence to attain your goals, then unintended consequences are an inevitable result. This is why more has been accomplished through a peaceful, but perhaps slow, grind towards justice.

Got deleted.
He told everyone to go home, but that he loved them and they were special, and he won the election in a landside, and it was stolen from them, and blah blah blah.

There's a weird fine line in here that puts these people somewhere between terrorism and simple trespass. Especially as we saw, these people were willing to peacefully leave. Did the individual break into the building or did the individual just walk through an open door? Did they attack an officer or were the no police even around? Did they fight to stay or did they leave once told to?
I wouldn't hold my breath on someone simply walking into a building and leaving when specifically told to not be allowed to post bail if it even got that far.

Yes it is different, but how much weight do you put on getting everyone home safely? You lock those doors and start confronting each individual when you're out numbered by 10, and you're just going to get more violence, more people storming back in. There's no "if you don't arrest me in 15 minutes I'm innocent" rule, you got each one of their faces (since they don't wear masks...), you can charge them for the crimes that they did whether or not you arrested them at the time.
Yes, some will get home without being identified, but I mean is it worth risking more lives and officers? Also keep in mind they did find actual bombs. Locking people in and fighting with them if they are willing to walk away peacefully is last priority here, there's people with guns and bombs that you need to worry about right now.

One of the tweets called Mike Pence a coward.
Another praised the rioters.
A third was a video where Trump claimed the Presidential election was a fraud.

Ya, I might just be a sucker for punishment.
But part of me needs to see the utter lack of remorse and self-reflection to comprehend that someone can truly hold those thoughts in their head.

Oh you’ll see them. Historic ####.

There's no evidence that the riots this summer (as opposed to the protests) have led to any good at all for anyone.

The riots in Portland, Seattle, and elsewhere looked pretty white to me.

If this goes through and Congress has adjourn then Trump has no recourse as Congress will have 21 days to deliberate over his "temporary" removal.

Some of the callers on C-Span are just ridiculous.
One lady, who sounded like she was whacked out on oxies, was saying that if they just allowed an audit of the election results, everyone would be happy. If the Democrats have nothing to hide, they would allow it.
After multiple re-counts, every state certifying the results, and over 60 judges dismissed claims, an audit isn't going to fix anything. Trump will claim the audit was fixed and Trumpists will believe him. They won't be happy until they get the result they want, so why would the Dems keep doing this? It would only be a matter of time until someone fixes an audit or recount.
The lady was asked why 60 judges dismissed claims because there was no evidence. She said it's because they are scared of the Democrats and Antifa. Just completely brainwashed.
