His people will take from his words whatever they want to. They're committed to a cause, and I don't think even explicit words from Trump - which are unlikely - will dissuade them.
Edit: yeah, that video is pretty much what I was expecting. He justified their cause rather than repudiating it. Why would they leave now? Some of them flew in from Texas for this...

Got the push alert on my phone during a meeting that we're under curfew. Turned on the TV to see the mayhem. Luckily it doesn't seem to be spilling out from the capitol and mall district. My neighborhood seems normal. Very tense though.
