Looks like the two Russians that play for UConn have seen 0 ice time.
Both were dressed and on the bench. I wonder what happened?

Nice to see Finland pick up another medal. Another game where Finland started slow but improved over the course of the game.
This years teams also seems like a really tightly knit group, and a fun and chill bunch. Easy to see how they played for each other and supported each other. Warms the heart to see them end the tournament on a high note

Trevor Zegras sounds like a ###### and then I noticed he's drafted by the Schmucks. That explains it.

Crazy to see them get a bronze. It seems like it is either gold, or nothing for Finland.

Pace and compete levels are high for both teams early on. Should be a good game if this keeps up.

It's frustrating how many great prospects the kings and ducks have.

How does Canada have no shots? Peretti got one.

About ten turnovers by Canada already. Not a good start.

Is Zary playing tonight? Duthie mentioned something about him being the 13th forward.
Great pace so far also. Let's go boys.

That's what happens when you take your lumps at the NHL level when your core is past its expiry date and just quietly stock up on futures, rather than putting your resources into squeezing out an early playoff exit.
If we put everything into stockpiling picks for 2-3 years we would be in a similar position, but Canadian clubs experience more pressure to remain competitive at the cost of those futures.
