I don't know if I want to check her out, that ad alone was enough to break me.

I have a feeling that it will be a bad day for ER staff in DC tomorrow.
Hopefully these morons find nothing but empty streets and then pick fights against their own "undercover operatives"

Hospitals being too full of covid patients to treat them would be poetic.

I'm hoping you're wrong on the first part. That's the last thing that's needed right now.

Me too-but with the level of stupid that the militant trump supporters continually display, it is pretty much inevitable.

Seeing as there's special elections tonight, get that needle going to smack your bitch up (or to follow the results if you prefer...)

Exit polls are looking pretty good for Perdue. Early results looking good for the Democrats. I am guessing this will be a split decision Warnock/Perdue.

Yup... Those are the ones that in a more primitive time natural selection would eliminate from the lineage of the human species, as they would get themselves killed through senseless conflict, contracting disease or walking into a bear's den.
But in the modern day western world stupid is well protected enough to survive, multiply and rally behind the loudest, dumbest one of the bunch. And that's how we get here.

A split decision means it's 51-49 for the Republicans and Moscow Mitch remains in control, right? The Dems need to win both seats so it's 50-50 and VP Harris casts the tie-breaking vote per senate rules.

I tend to agree we're going to get a split, I just want that miserable fill-in-the-four-letter-word-that-starts-with-C to lose because she is one of the very worst of the worst.

No, that's Marjorie Green, the Q-Anon nutter, now a duly elected congresswoman.

I don't think that's a big likelihood. There are at least 3 R Senators who look like they are willing to work bi-partisan bills though. So if it goes 51-49, they just need to get support from one of them. I don't know how the filibuster fits into that though. I have to think though that 51-49 is going to be a lot better than 52-48 in terms of Biden getting anything done.
