A scare off the Preds scout who recommended picking this goalie, frightening performance.

Stuetzle - probably plays most of the year on a bad team
Cozens - would think he either sticks as a 3rd liner for Buf or they'd rather he stays down for icetime
Byram - no idea, maybe gets a shot with Col, but that's already a younger D
Anyone else worth thinking about as a sleeper?

If it's not a dynasty league the only one to really watch is Cozens. He will be tried on the wing with Staal, most likely.
Those rumors/speculation of picking up Cozens that we were all throwing around in the summer....

I know the crowd vs no crowd thing has been beaten to death and most don't really care if there's a crowd or not. But man I'm really noticing how much a home Canadian crowd can heighten my excitement of a world juniors game.
When they're playing well and dominating, I can keep watching with the crazy crowds eating it up. When it's an empty arena? Yawn, change channel. I really wish there was more competition in these besides Canada/USA.

Much like the US election, likely fraud going on.
The Russians should have this entire game thrown out.

If you need someone to get you 25 points this year then Cozens or Stuetzle, unlikely they get more. If it’s a keeper league they are great for the future but one year league, let someone else reach while you get a 35 point vet.

Maybe its Canada that should stop going to this tournament so as to stop all the lop-sided games.

I bet Canada could have made 2 teams, spread out the talent evenly and both those teams would beat Russia this year

Our 2nd rounder Kuznetsov not very impressive. Big yes. But not strong on guys in front of net and turned it over in the dot.

I only saw goals 3 and 4, but man did Askarov look bad on both. Poor angles, slow reaction.
