RO system hooked up to fridge dispenser. Ice cold pure tasting water, and nice clear ice cubes. Its the best. I needed RO for my brewing anyhow so I just ran an extra line

Pretty sick of driving the exact same roads all the damn time. Nothing reminds me of how mundane my life is like passing the same houses, same intersections, every god damned day.

This is why cars and roads are bad, and we should all have state of the art train systems to ferry us around in.

What I love about being in a city with a well-built subway system is the densification and flourishing of human activity along the lines. You can get off the same train in Seoul or Tokyo everyday and feel like something different is going on.

Why not mix it up by changing the commute?

McKenzie Lake to Skyview Ranch at 730am. Do you think I'm taking Deerfoot?

Do the people who do that 200 times a year share the same view? Or do they bore of the commute like everyone else? I imagine the latter.

I am in board with the benefits of mass transit but not at all for this reason. Being herded around in trains is great for many things but variety not one of them. The flexibility to go wherever you want is exactly the reason people drive IMO.

After doing that commute for 6 years from the very far south to the NW, the biggest positive was when an obnoxiously loud woman on her phone got pinched by the doors and spilled her coffee all over her jacket

I spend an inordinate amount of time staring at our Tupperware drawer searching for a match for leftover food. They’re also super annoying to clean and in dishwasher don’t get dry very well.
That's funny, just this morning I was putting away some tupperware into the mess of a cupboard, and I got fed up and sorted it out. Removed everything, found all the matching lids, sorted and organized it, and chucked all the mismatches into the recycling bin. Felt good.

Any particular reason you can't use a glass?

How about....TWO water bottles? Fill, put in fridge. Have cold water all the time. When one is empty, fill, and store in fridge.

Also, 3 stage water filter.

This is exactly why I switched to drinking snake juice - to keep hydration and electrolytes up with minimum effort. Of a 1L batch, I’ll drink 250-500mL on days that I’m not doing strenuous physical work and not feel thirsty at all. It has potassium chloride salt, baking soda, Himalayan sea salt, and magnesium sulfate salt.

That would require even more filling trips.

I mean that doesn’t really solve the water bottle filling as you still have to fill every time.
