Edward Snowden is a Russian asset.

My concern is that those on unemployment (enhanced and extended) are going to be sold out to fund any $2k checks.

The whole system is completely broken and I’m disgusted with everyone in DC. I pay a ton in federal taxes but won’t be eligible for a stimulus check. I’m on unemployment (due to a layoff) and now may not get anything past December 26, along with thousands of people worse off than me. At this point, I’m hard pressed to see what I’m getting for my tax dollars other than a lot of disappointment and payments to foreign countries.

Does a Trump pardon wipe out the criminal record that accompanied the conviction?

Maybe it would be cool if we scrutinized Biden even 1% as much as Trump. Merry Christmas.

What's the record number for pardons during the last month of holding office? This seems like just a farce.

Obama did almost 2000 total during his 8 years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...y_Barack_Obama

A large number were people who were given harsh mandatory sentences for relatively minor drug offenses.

Quote:
Obama holds the record for the largest single-day use of the clemency power, granting 330 commutations on January 19, 2017, his last full day in office. He also issued more commutations than the past 13 presidents combined.

More Trump pardons. Roger Stone gets a pardon to go with his commutation. Paul Manafort. And Charles Kushner, Jared's dad.

Almost all Trump's pardons are for political allies or for personal gain. When Clinton pardoned Rich Republicans got a federal prosecutor to investigate if it was illegal.

If Biden did that everyone would freak out about how partisan that is.

But seems he's sneaking up on his family and himself in pardons.

This pardoning spree isn't just Trump giving a giant middle finger to the entire concept of justice... it's Trump giving a giant middle finger to the entire concept of human civility.

In Donald's world, crime is a-ok as long as you are a lackey to Donald.

Here a theory on the $2000 check thing:

1. Announce on Twitter that you want to give $2000 instead of $600. His followers/supporters see it the most, unfiltered by the media

2. His supporters now believe they will get $1400 more than they expected and spend it now. Some money is donated back to Trumps Legal defence/2024 campaign funds

3. ????

4. Profit

P.S. If you do not catch what the ???? is, I'll give you a hint: The money is laundered into Trumps personal bank account

I hope Dominion goes after these clowns in a civil law suit that bankrupts Trump, Guiliani, Powell, Flynn for generations to come.
