Nope no where did I say Tannehill was better than Mahomes. All I was pointing out was that Tannehill is doing great in Tennessee and comparing his numbers to the best QB in the league.
There is a reason why Henry has been able to feast since Tannehill took over as starter, Henry didn't consistently put up monster numbers when Mariota was QB. Both are equally important to the Titans success, yet some people think all Tanny does is hand the ball off.

So is there anyone in the NFC that is a Super Bowl threat?
Saints seem meh. Packers have a worse record against teams with winning records than the bengals.
Is the AFC’s to lose?

I mean we have a playoff year last year where Tannehill won twice throwing for under 100 yards and once Henry got bottled up they got blown out. Tannehill is important to the Tennessee success, but I strongly suspect I could swap in several other guys and Tennessee would still be the same team contender wise. Give Tannehill a bottom 10 running game and they are 7-9. Give Henry a mid tier QB and they are probably still a playoff team.

Packers have the same "fraud" stink on them that they did last year heading into the playoffs. The difference is Rodgers is playing at an MVP-level this year. Seahawks and Rams also seem to be frauds. I think the Saints can theoretically hang with anyone in the AFC outside of the Chiefs, but yeah, the NFC is super weak this year.

To be fair I only watch Titans so I've seen my share of average QBs and Tannehill is having the best season I've seen from a Titans QB since McNair won his MVP.
You may very well be absolutely correct in that another QB would have similar success with the Titans, but I hope we don't have to find out the answer and Tannehill stays with the Titans for a while.

I actually agree with this statement as a Packers fan. The defense is incredible porous this year and I'm waiting to see Henry rattle off 300 yards on Sunday. If not for Rodgers the Pack are lost. Saints probably are the best chance for the NFC but it's a crapshoot this year. I don't see how the AFC doesn't dominate the Super Bowl

Let's give Arthur Smith some credit for the Titans offence too. They have added some decent weapons on the outside to complement Henry and Tannehill. They remind me of the Vermeil era Chiefs when they had Trent Green and Priest Holmes. Great scheme, good line, and skill position players with an above average QB that let's him put up huge numbers. The Titans used to be a bit boring to watch, now they are one of the more entertaining teams.

Why are people talking about "the AFC" being favoured to win the Super Bowl? Just say "the Chiefs". We know that's what you mean.

Chiefs, Ravens, Titans, and Bills are all realistically better than anything the NFC has to offer.

It's a rare Friday football game in the NFL.
To everyone at Calgarypuck, Merry Christmas, have a great holiday!
2:30 PM 1430h
at on FOX and simulcast on CTV, TSN1, TSN4, and RDS in french

It is a must win for the Vikings as a loss will eliminate them from the playoff race. The Saints have clinched a playoff spot and need to win to increase their chances of winning the NFC South division. The top 2 seeds in the NFC are still possible for the Saints.

I vowed to never purchase a Titans jersey again since their careers usually end up in the toilet shortly after (Vince Young/Chris Johnson/Mariota) it’s like a Madden curse. My Wife got me a Henry jersey for Christmas, she’s a Packers fan, she’s trying to be sweet about it, but I can see right through her, we’re going to fight on Sunday lol

Smart girl!
Oh and Johnson had a great career...I remember seeing him live when he was with ECU and thinking he was the real deal. Was hoping the Pack would draft him that year though they didnt have a 1st...ended up with Jordy Nelson though so it all worked out.

Saints are just punching the Vikings in the face and doing whatever they like.
Impressive stuff.
