I believe they are gatekeepers to the experts that are part of an agenda. But we all have our own opinions. Anyway heres a video from a credible microbiologist that has been censored. And if ur going to watch 10 seconds and make your own "expert" post then just dont bother. https://newtube.app/user/NoNewAbnormal/yYWSSXm?u=t
What on Earth is a NewTube? I can already feel the malware coursing through my computer's motherboard.

this is about vaccination, how about something to the point of social distancing? like in this topic here?
Regardless here, Bhakdi makes the point that this has to be "efficatious", but that's exactly what happens in phases 1-3 of a clinical trial. Yeah, ok, the vaccine has to work in order to be approved....but that's what the scientific method is for, especially in the case of pharmaceuticals.

"Bigtree's appeal as a public speaker and a recent influx of funding has made him one of the most prominent voices in the anti-vaccination movement. He has no medical training." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Del_Bigtree
Sounds like a real authority on the subject. I suppose you are an antivaxer, too?

Some activities need to continue or the economy falls apart. Others don't.
I coach girls hockey in Calgary, they were crushed when play was suspended on November 13th. But nobody lost their job (could be some arena staff for sure) when they halted it as the lion's share of minor hockey if volunteer.
Malls need to be open to some degree (15%) in order to keep businesses alive, and the economy running.
Kids have to be in school (young ones) so their parents can go to work.
Outdoor rinks open at all is an attempt to give people something even though it's not "required", something that is becoming a headache and will likely end with a closure.
The fairness lens doesn't work in these times.
Agreed.
And just to add to that, it is totally fair that there is an unequal set of distancing rules. As a society, we often recognize that for the sake of fairness, things do not have to be equal. For example, we permit people with disabilities to park close to building entrances or board a plane first. It's not equal, but it is fair (or rather trying to create some level of fairness for people to whom life hasn't been fair). People with lower incomes pay fewer taxes. Not equal, but it is fair. Some people with certain conditions are allowed to bring support animals into public places, while not everyone can. Again, not equal, but fair.
Like you said, the COVID restrictions are not equally applied everywhere because we recognize the need to balance other important concerns like employment and education. It's not equal, but by definition, it is 100% fair. Fairness is about people getting what they need and not about everyone getting the same regardless of needs. Having to eventually resort to total lockdown of everything to make recreational hockey players happy in the short term would be the opposite of fair.

Hope you're not referring to X Æ A-12, the most legendary name of all time.
I'm more protective in this situation because the mother is a beloved local and has such an incredible story.
However, yes, I do agree with you.
Hell, my sister named my niece "Ayi'dah" (pronounced "I-ate-ah"). I've already given her more name-jabbing in her first 18 months of life than she'll get throughout all of school.
I am content with having absolutely no idea who that is.
In watching this I could easily see how an encounter with the police can get easily ramped up. People yelling crap in the background negative about the police.
I was also surprised the female officer seemed to drop the f-bomb quickly.
Saw some screen grabs on Twitter of some suggesting that they weren’t real police officers and plants by nenshi to support the woke de-fund police movement. That seems like a stretch to me, but I suppose it is a possibility

You suppose incorrectly.

That is multiple levels of insanity. You should block whoever tweeted that nonsense so you never see anything they ever think of again.

If only more politicians were as reasonable as Naheed Nenshi.

How are people still so ignorant to believe that wearing a mask is about protecting yourself?
It’s about stopping the spread, easing the impact on hospitals, and ensuring that those who need care actually receive.
And it's not like some major leap of science.
We all talk with steam and liquid coming out of our mouths. Maybe best not to have your steam liquid cocktail going up the nose and mouth of the guy beside you picking out celery at Coop during a pandemic.
It's not like you have to give up beer to stay healthy and protect people.

Things the pandemic situation has opened my eyes to:
1) Even if I give in and agree that this is a normal flu season thing (absolutely do not), then I’m ashamed we haven’t been wearing masks all along. I’m shocked so many are dying, and almost all vulnerable. But we should care, and do what we can to minimize. My grandparents were the most loving caring people to me and others. If they were alive would it be fair that someone else’s decision ended there lives earlier than natural course of old age?
2) I knew opioid deaths were a big problem. Idk, maybe the media is piling on a bit bringing this issue into the light right now. But the numbers are shocking. Again makes me feel like a bit of an ignorant ass not understanding how big of a problem it is. I’m not sure without the pandemic these deaths would get the same MSM attention? Idk, but I appreciate the situation more so now. Hope I can be more helpful, and no matter what will be more empathetic.
3) People are weird about this mask thing. I hate masks. Bugs the hell out of me. But I comply and wear one and follow out health professionals directions. I mean, what does it hurt? And if it actually helps seems like a dumb ass thing not to do. Freedoms are only possible within a society that understands that boundaries and rules enable freedoms.
