If that’s the case it’s very odd that earlier in this thread you were arguing that on average only $1.7M-$1.8M in revenue was generated per home game based on an average attendance of 17,380. You made it clear that those figures included all merchandising, food, beers etc sold at the games so I’m sure you can understand how this does not add up at all.

Again you’re the only one suggesting the league is giving away 1/3 of their tickets. I think you also need to stop referencing the 36% figure when I’ve made it pretty clear that number was only the low end of what has been reported.

No to be honest I think the inconsistencies in your posts are doing a better of that than I ever could.
All joking and snarkness aside, I want to make it very clear that I’m not arguing with you for the sake of arguing, I honestly think your numbers do not add up, and while my numbers probably aren’t perfect either I think the actual numbers probably land closer to mine than yours.
Using your previous attendance figures and applying your $100/ticket price the league would be generating over $2.4B in ticket revenue alone. Just shy of 50% of all HRR. Add to that the money from the national and regional tv broadcast rights deals which is around $2B(40% of HRR) and by your logic all in game merchandise, food/beer concessions sales and all other revenue generated by the league’s apparel, video game licensing agreements and all other remaining revenue streams only makes up about $500M or 10% of HRR. That seems extraordinarily unlikely. To save you time, $500M is the equivalent of each fan spending around $20 at a game.
Using your $1.7M-$1.8M in total gate revenues generated per game, around $2.4B-$2.5B, would mean that the league would be earning around $500M annually from all non game day merchandise, videogame and other licensing deals/sales. While that is much more plausible than the $100/average ticket price scenario above, it still seems like a pretty small amount of revenue considering the amount of merchandise the league is able to sell.
None of this explains the sudden shift in regards to how much revenue you believe the league earns in gate receipts. Earlier in this thread you posted this:

For some reason, almost as soon as I put out the gate revenue figure of 36% of HRR(which I later clarified as 36-39%) you started arguing that gate revenues were much higher(~50% rather than 44%) than what you were previously claiming. The 5% difference in HRR between your 44% figure and my 39% figure is roughly $250M or around $10/fan in attendance according to your attendance figures.
Based on how far off I believe your average ticket price estimation seems to be(I can go into more detail on that if you’d like but something tells me that me posting anymore than necessary would not be your preference
) I hope you’re able to at least see how our numbers aren’t as far apart as you or others may have originally thought, which isn’t to say that I’m right or you’re wrong, just that I think you may have dug your heels in a little deep for no reason and now your new arguments are contradictory to your old ones which isn’t a great look.
